Balorama

The Ray Ban Balorama is one of the most recognizable wraparound models from the Bausch & Lomb USA era. Unlike the metal families derived from the Aviator, or the frontal architecture of the Wayfarer, the Balorama builds its identity around a curved acetate body, broad lenses, and a closed presence on the face. Its design follows a simple logic: increasing lateral coverage without turning the frame into a strictly sports oriented object. That combination of protection, visual opacity, and urban use explains much of its strength within the Ray Ban B&L catalog.
